Ghost Shopper ("we", "us") provides automated checkout monitoring. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do not do with it.
Screenshots are images of your own storefront as an anonymous visitor sees it. They may incidentally capture test data we submitted ourselves, such as the placeholder name and postcode used to fill a shipping form. They are stored for the retention period of your plan and then deleted.
If you install our Shopify app, Shopify shows you the exact scopes we request before you approve. We request the minimum needed to identify your store and detect theme changes. You can revoke access at any time by uninstalling the app.
We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. We share it only with the infrastructure providers needed to run the service, and where we are legally required to.
Check results and screenshots are kept for the window your plan specifies (7, 30 or 90 days) and deleted after that. If you uninstall or close your account, we delete your configuration and remaining results within 30 days. You can request deletion sooner by emailing us.
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
